This is my Intarsia artwork. I started with simple characters and progressed to my favorite subjects "Carousel Horses" and then added "Indian Dancers" . Each is created from 1-1/2" pine, cut, fitted and shaped, carved then painted and then up to 350 individual pieces are assembled on beveled mirror backing. They range from 2' X 3' up to 4' X 6' and can take several hundred hours to complete.
