- I live in Louisiana, literally a block outside of Orleans Parish. (Think of it as "Orleans County". And, before you ask, I didn't escape unscathed - Katrina was just a little kinder to me than many.)

- I'm the middle child of three, the only girl.
- I was the only girl grandchild on either side of the family.
- I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications Education.
- I worked in the field of Broadcasting for almost 20 years.
- I consider myself a Conserberal Republocrat.
- I'm single, with no children, except of the furry, 4-legged variety.
- I have one puppy, and she has claimed ownership of my two kitty-cats.
