Janet R. Sherman established her own studio in Gainesville, Florida in 1988. She was selected for numerous juried events and invitations, where she received many awards and honors for her work. After her success in the festival and show arena, she has primarily shown her work at featured presentations in gallery exhibitions nationwide, while creating custom pieces for private clientele.
