Welcome......  For those of you who are familiar with the city of Virginia Beach, we're located in the WoodBridge Pointe section.  This is close to the intersection of Lynnhaven Parkway and Centerville Turnpike in the Southwest section of the city.  For those of you outside the Virginia Beach area let me give you some more specifics:
Latitude: 36.770- North
Longitude: -76.176- West
What's all this mean?  Well if you look at a Tidewater/Norfolk Virginia area map, we're about 8 miles west of the Virginia Beach oceanfront and about 6 miles SE of the Norfolk Intl. Airport.  And of course these distances are by way of the crows flight or by the way the air moves across our area.  Around here our weather is influenced by the ocean and bay water temperatures.  In the summer we can draw a cool evening breeze while in the winter it can keep us from freezing like our friends up north.
