The above picture was provided by Valerie, her brother Chuck took this photo at the 1970 Lake Havasu Classic. The race program says the owner/driver was Ed Stewart of California. If you have any further info could you please send one of us an E-mail?

Some Great pictures! With a little info.
The Boat pictured above was named "Miss Skyway"
it was driven by Dave Craig. According to Mr. Switzer, Mercury loaned it
to
him for special occasions, like the Gold Coast Marathon
etc.To see her sister boat the 7000, (prior to her racing day's) running
at Lake X at speeds in excess of 120 M.P.H. go
here. It will be picture #1.
