The Commonwealth of Helvetica

Just inside of Switzerland is the Rhine Falls.

We rode our little boat right down these falls, NOT!

This statue was carved into the side of a hill in Lucern. It memorializes the Swiss troops that died at the hands of the French people at the start of the French Revolution. The troops had layed down their arms by order of the king.

This is a governmental building in downtown Lucern. Below is the historic bridge that's very old (anybody have an exact date?).

Not a bad view for a hotel room.
