The Dugan Glass Company and the Diamond Glass-Ware Company for some reason made very little green carnival glass. Only a few patterns such as Pony, Windflower Nappy, and Adams Rib have been found in "Ice Green" which is similar to a stretch glass. Very few carnival glass patterns of this company have been found in green. It is not known if all the variations of green are part of the green afterglow line or not. On careful inspection of the photographs below you will see variations in the green color. The green color of the glass can be seen where the glass is not iridized or the marigold overlay is very thin. If the glass has a dark marigold overlay or iridized surface, the green color of the glass can only be seen on the base when held up to a light. Examples of a heavy iridized surface in the photographs below are; Beaded Basket, Windflower Nappy, and Windflower Bowl.
