There are two ways to do this Jeanette and Nelson song fest, but
there is really one way to do it correctly, and that is method 1. Oh, you
can go to the midi page and hear the songs play as midis, but you won't
see the words, and you won't see the music, and you won't be able to follow
the words and music as the song plays out. |

METHOD 1:
Download and install a free adjunct program called the Noteworthy
Player Plugin. It is not a big deal, not a long and involved process, and
as simple as pie. Just go to the Noteworthy Software site
and download the file which will, WHEN YOU RUN IT, install the program
which works with IEx 5 and above and with Netscape 4 to 6 but not 7, and
which will automatically set up the player so you can enjoy the MacDonald
and Eddy songs from the thirties. With this method you will be able to
see and hear the song simultaneously from this PAGE
where both the words and the musical notes will light up in a different
color as the song plays through. |

|
METHOD 2:
You can hear the songs by going to this PAGE
and clicking on the individual song titles which are underlined and therefore
comprise links to the midi files. |
