Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming : In my opinion the most dramatic

views of the rocky mountains.

View from the East of Grand Teton (13,770 ft) and Mount Owen (on the left).

Beautiful, isn't it ? (and these are NOT postcards !)

Independence rock, Wyoming. Pioneers emigrating west along the Oregon trail

had to reach this point before July 4th if they wanted to have the time to cross the

rocky mountains before winter. (thus the name). They often carved messages

on the rock so that relatives following them later could know that they were safe.

Rocky Mountain National park, Colorado:

Believe it or not, this little stream is the Colorado river, taking its

source in the Rocky Mountain national park. At some point you could

jump over it.
