Confessions of a Giggling Drama Queen...

   I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! Ours was wonderful. Christmas Eve day we had so much fun at Chris' grandparents!!!! We ate and played cards! Then exchanged gifts. We received money from his grandparents and a beautiful hand painted on the inside ornament from his Aunt and family. Then it was over to my parents for more eating and fun! We played the gift games, which was the MOST fun we have had in a long time! We laughed so much! Chris received a steam cleaner and a Moc Croc weekend tote!! (well he stole the tote for me, back from my sister-in-law stealing it from me...~*giggle*~) I received a hand held electronic hearts game and a deep fryer.
   We gave Taylor his bike and it about broke my heart to see him cry and tell me :I love it, but I do not know how to ride it" I wanted to cry myself. Before the night was over "Big Chris" had him outside RIDING!!!!!!! He took to it sooo good! He is already planning for his next bike!!!!
   Christmas day we sleep in a bit, then got dressed to go to his dad's. Chris and I both received money ( which will go with the money from his grandparents and mom for our luggae!!!), a cd holder for the visor, and a stocken filled with lots of goodies!!!!
   Today is our 12th anniversary! Lovie had the day off, we cleaned house, did laundry, went to the grocery, then came home and played cards and watched TV. Are we getting old or what ~*giggle*~
   We just finished watching Open Water... What a chilling movie! It is based on true events of a couple from Baton Rouge (my hometown) that was left behind a diving excursion!
Good movie!    
   We are leaving for the campground in the morning early! We had planed on going today but I am not feeling too good! I have a cold! I caught it from going outside to cool off!!!! I do not know how much more of these hot flashes I can take!!!!! Anyway...We will celebrate New Years with my family and our camping buddies!! They have a big bon fire, a firework show, and champange at midnight!!!! It will be alot of fun!
   We are having a Cookie and Cocoa party at our camp site Friday. We bought the cookies today, I am cheating!! ~*giggle*~ But Wal Mart has some verra yummy fresh baked treats!
   Well it is off to bed for us so we can get out of here early as we can. Have a great night and a Very Happy New Year!!!

   Merry Christmas Eve!! We just had pancakes and sausage! VERRA YUMMY! No we are watching Miracle on 34th Street, well Lovie is snoring so... ~*giggle*~
   They are still calling for sleet and snow today!!! The birdbath in the front in FROZEN!!! Brrrrr! I am so glad it has gotten cold for Christmas. We have had some that shorts were the dress for the day! But not this year!!!!
   We are going to Lovie's grandparents around noon. Then it to my parents at 6pm. In the morning we will go to Lovie's Dad's. Lots of food for the nest two days!
   At 7pm tonight the bonfires will be lite all along the levee for Popa Noel. We have not been to see them, we watch from the comfort of home!! ~*giggle*~ But without the bonfires Popa Noel would not find his way into all the bayous!



   Well I better get my fanny in the shower!!! Have a wonderful and magical Christmas Eve!

   The weather is going crazy around here! The high today was 76!!! They are calling for snow flurries Friday!!!!!!!!! A white Christmas would be the neatest thing!!!! ~ I'm dreaming of a white Christmas... ~ I will keep you posted on this!!! Nothing like snow in south Louisiana!!! ~*giggle*~
   Our party here at home Saturday was wonderful. Of course we had a ton of food. Everyone ate till they could pop!!! Each guest took a turn in my chair!!! ~*giggle*~ Santa came early with my Homedics Shiatsu AntiGravity Recliner We had a fire in the fireplace on the back patio. Mrs. Bertha found the pickle on the tree and won the gift!!!! She received a Santa figurine. We all had a great time visiting with each other. I could not invite all that I wanted due to the size of our house, it is small. We are having another gathering at the campground with cookies and coco!!!! (of course we will have the yummy flavored brandy to go in the coco again!!!) I hope no ones feeling were hurt by not getting invited to my home. I got my self very stressed out over this that night I went to bed with 3 Benedryl, hydocortizon cream and HIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never had hives before and it was not fun!!!!! Poor Lovie was verra worried about me. I can not believe I did that to myself!
   We just watched Napoleon Dynamite! OMG!! What a waste of film!!!!        Do not get me wrong we did laugh at a few things but it was horrible!
   We finished our last gift Sunday!! YAHOOOOO!! We are DONE!!! And that is the last gift I need to wrap too! This is the earliest we have EVER been done! Heaux! Heaux! Heaux!
   We have received MANY Christmas cards!!! We have 26 so far!!! One from Canada and one from Sweden!!!!!! And of course we sent and handed out alot!
   Lovie is having to go to have his blood pressure checked three times a week for three weeks. This is his second week of going in. Today it was down 122 / 70!!!! The doctor will put him on meds if he can not get it to come down better. It has been REALLY high!
   We went to dinner last night with my parents, my brother, his wife and their kids. We had Mexican! VERRA YUMMY!!! After we went to see Christmas lights. It was chili and we were too full to move!!! They had The North Pole there! VERRA neat! Momma was so inchanted by it! ~*giggle*~
   Well we are about to watch another movie, I have no clue what it is or the name of it, I will prolly nap!!!!! Happy birthday to Calinda, Cody and Pop Jack!!!! Have a great night!

   Today my parents celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary! Look at what a beautiful couple they have made!





   There is nothing like my parents, they are my rock! I have had to depend on both on them completely more than once in my life and they have both always been there with open arms.

   We all love you "Gracie" and will never forget you! Be a good girl for your new Mommy! You will be sadly missed by all.

   Do you see the temp?!?!?! IT IS COLD! We will have our first freeze tonight! I am VERRA excited about that!!! ~*giggle*~ BRRR.......
   Today is my Lovie's birthday! I had coffee and cookie waiting on him when he got home today! We are having a junk food / movie night! Right now we are watching Charlie's Angel Full Throttle. GREAT movie!!!    
   I am SO proud of myself, I did my meme's this morning!! YAHOO! I have not even thought about them in forever, but really need to get back in the swing of them!
   I have LOTS of cooking coming up the next few days!! In the morning I will start on the gingerbread cookies!! YUMMY! Taylor's fav!

   Lovie and I have been VERRA busy getting things done around here for the holidays! We are having a party on the 18th for family and friends, We will be having corn and crab soup for lunch, and lots of Christmas goodies!! I will be baking gingerbread cookies Thursday! ~*giggle*~ I think this week will past really fast!
   Every room of our house has Christmas decorations in it! I have been watching HGTV with the really helpful decorating shows every night!! Curb Appeal had 2 designers on it, one of them made these giant candles out of pvc, they were too neat, so...Lovie and I made some!!! Check them out!





   They look like the electric ones you place on your window seals. Lovie made them waist high (well three different heights) The only thing we did different is we put flicker bulbs in them, to give them a more realistic candle effect!!!




   The other night we bought Carnations Gingerbread Coffee Creamer. YUM - ME!!!! I LOVE this stuff. We drank two verra big cups each!! I just might have to have a cup before I go to bed tonight! ~*giggle*~
   We just got home form Momma to came right in to finish watching the Survivor finale. Lovie cooked chicken and dumplings and we brought them to Momma to eat. It hit the spot! Even thought the temp was warm out! We left the left over for Momma to have another night, like prolly Wednesday night when it gets down to 24, brrrrrrr........
   Ok goen to make a pot of coffe and finish watching to see who wins!! Have a great night!

   We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE getting and sending Christmas cards!!! Yesterday we received the BEST one ever!!!! take a peak!!!





   Hope all of you are getting great ones too!!! I am off to get my housework done, so Lovie and I can do more decorating to get ready for our Christmas party next wkend!!! We have a busy wkend planed, going cruising to look at Christmas lights, going to eat pizza Saturday night, shopping, cleaning, yard work ect...

   Here I sit wide awake and it is storming out!!!! There is a cold front on the way so I am not complaining too much!! ~*giggle*~ We put up more decorations last night. This wkend we will put up our village on the porch.
   We have 9 more gift to buy and we will have are Christmas list done! I love giving gift!! We will prepare for our Christmas party this wkend. I have a trillion thing to do!!
   Well I think the storm is over and I am getting sleepy again, so I think I am going to lay back down for a bit! Have a great day!
