Confessions of a Giggling Drama Queen...

   Today was a long day! Lovie and I are not feeling any better!!! The flu is for the birds!!! Poor Lovie worked in this rainy weather with cold temps today!
   Momma Linda went home today. She did not want to go... Pawpaw is doing alot better, he has to use a walker because he has not regained all his strength yet. Mawmaw is feeling better too, thank goodness her flu did not get too bad.
   I want to go to the Spanish Town parade this wkend sooooooo bad... They decorate the city with pink flamingos!!! But we will be at the campground I guess...
   Gone to take meds and go to bed. Have a great night!

   Here I sit eating a Hershey bar and peanut butter like I got good since! I was sleepy! Now I will be awake for a bit I am sure! Aghwk!
   The weather was really rainy today! the wind was bad too! And it was COLD all day, even though it was in the fifties today, it was still bone chilling cold! It looks like the rain will stick around all wkend, which is a real bummer!!! BR has some great parades this wkend!
   I feel great about myself today!!! I got the laundry done, folded and put away! YAHOO!!!!!! When Lovie cam in he helped me rearrange my / the quest room. I LOVE to deep clean and reorganize, it is like a fresh new start! Makes ya feel good!
   Well I am coming down from my sugar high and I have run out of things to say because I was on a sugar high and keep getting up away from this ~*giggle*~ So have a giggly night and a gigglier wkend!!!!

   OMG!!! The Simple Life started tonight!! I am watching it NOW!!! TOO FUNNY! I can not believe they put them in another police car!!!!!! OMG!!!!! I just saw a commercial for the movie Boogie Man! Now I will not sleep well !
   Pawpaw is doing alot better. He is still at the same hospital, and will be there for another three to four days! My brother is in the ER at another hospital now!!! He could not breath so they called an ambulance for him. We were scared it was his heart, he had a problem with micro valve prolasp a few years back! He found out he is hypoglycemic. He has lost a little over 70 pounds over the past few months, I guess this made him hypoglycemic!?!?!?! He is waiting for another blood test now, and they should let him come home in a bit. Please keep him in you thoughts and prayers!
   Tomorrow is Pawpaw's 81st birthday!!! We will go visit tomorrow and take him a gift!!! We are going out to eat with Lovie's mom tomorrow night. It will be crawfish of course!! YUM!
   I am feeling some what better! I was in the bed all day yesterday with hives! I called my doctor and he called me in some Alegria, and told me that if they do not clear up to come in. Today I am hive free so far!!! I hope that I have this under control with the meds and switching fabric softener!!!! No more Downy Simple Pleasures for me!!!
   I am PMSing!! Lovie brought me a Dr Pepper and some chocolate!! Here I sit with a heart full of delightful choclates, a Dr Pepper reading The Ultimate Weight Solution by Dr Phil....OMG what is wrong with this picture!!!!



   Well I am going to sit here and watch some more TV and then it is off to bed with my meds!!! have a giggly night!!!

   What a scary wkend! Lovie's Pawpaw fell in the shower Saturday morning! His asthma was acting up pretty bad and he was going to the after hours clinic to get checked, but he wanted to get a shower in case they put him into the hospital, and he fell getting in the tub. He was jammed against the wall with the water on head first with the stopped in! He called for Mawmaw and she tried to get him out but could not move him. She drained the water and got the faucet off then called 911. It took 4 paramedics to get him out because of how he was stuck in the tub. They took him to the ER because his head was cut and his nose was bleeding pretty bad! He started having heart failure! His pace maker was keeping his heart beating! He could not breath with the asthma acting up! So they had to put him on a ventilator. They had to sedated him, because he was over working himself by trying to talk, and he needed to rest and let his breathing get under control.
   We went today to visit at 1pm and he was off the machine and sitting up!!! WOW!!! What a change and a miracle!!! We could not have been happier! The power of prayer amazes me!
   We are both exhausted, hopefully I can get Lovie to go to bed early tonight after he calls to check on pawpaw one more time for the night! Have a giggly night and thank all of you verra much for your prayers and thoughts!!!! What would the world be without family and friends!?!?!?!

   You see my temp...71 well...It is going to get REALLY cold tonight! The low tonight is 28, and it will not be over 48 tomorrow!!!!!!!!! COLD FRONT coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOO!!!!
   We are not going to the campground. I know, I know craziness huh!?!? But my pleurisy is worse! I guess I am going to have to go to the doctor...But after reading on WebMD that the doctor might want to get a sample of the fluid to test it, kinda scared! I HATE needles!!! I know I could not sit there and let someone stick a needle in my back to draw out fluid! NO WAY!
   We are going to dinner tonight with my sister, brother-in-law and my parents. Daddy came in last night for the wkend!!! I think we are going to The Olive Garden...YUM! I could eat just their bread sticks! I am not eating all day..........
   I wanted to post a few pics of the Valentine garland I did around our door...Here ya go....







   I put twinkle lights in the garland also, so it looks pretty at night!!! I feel bad that we did not decorate for Mardi Gras, but I will do that at the campground. I am in a loveable mood this year!! ~*giggle*~

   My shoulder and neck were alot worse tis morning. I had a hard time getting gout of bed, and it hurt really bad to breath. Lovie put the hating pad on the sofa for me and brought me a cup of coffee, he is so good to me! I did not move much after that, I stayed on the sofa with the heat on me. I did muster up the energy to fold some clothes and put them away then soak in a hot bath.
   We watched The Village last night, NOT scary!!! But GREAT MOVIE!!!! The ending will throw you for a loop! Makes you stop and think, it can happen, how can you blame them for making a better life for their families?

   Of course we watch American Idol tonight and of course it was great!!! I can not wait till next week for New Orelans!!!!!! I hope they have great ones!
   Lovie ordered us Popa Johns Pizza and it is snot here yet! Hmph! I am hungry! We had plans tonight but something came up and they were changed. PIZZA DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!
   We have not got our dates for our trip yet, but we think it will be the last week of April. We are getting VERRA excited!! We plan on buying a scrapbook album to do just for the Disney trip! We will take TONS of pics I am sure! And Disney has this new thing called Photo Pass where you get a card and they scan it when they take your pic and upload them, and you can get them with your passcode!! TOO NEAT, we will be doing that!!! We also want to do the breakfast with Cindarella in the castle!!!!! I have ALWAYS wanted to do that!!! The last time I went to DisneyWorld was when I was in the third grade!! I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!


   Well the pizza is here gonna go munch!!! Have a great giggly night!

   We had a good wkend at the campground. Lovie and bro in law boiled crawfish!!!! VERRA YUMMY!!! They had a good size to them also being it is early in the season! I do believe we laughed more than we ate though! ~*giggle*~
   Tonight American Idol started! So far so good and funny. We enjoy the bad ones as much as the good ones. The bad ones really have great self confidence to go on there!!! I salute them!
   I have been suffering with pleurisy since late Friday night. Thank goodness Momma had some heat patches, which helped verra much! I will be glad when it is gone!
   I better close for now, American Idol is about over, we are going to watch The Village (ekkkkkk) before we go to bed!! Have a giggly night!

   We are going to Disneyworld!!! All expense 7 days 6 nights!!! Yahooooo!!!! I could not be more proud of my Lovie, he won rookie of the year, and earned a place in the presidents club!!!!!





   Being in the presidents club, he won a beautiful Concord watch! Now when he looks to see what time of the day it is, he will be reminded how hard he worked and be proud of himself, as much as I am of him.



   We left Friday morning at 10am. I was nervous about leaving my puppie kids! But we had arranged for our friends to stay the weknd with them, so they were in great hands, and would have lots of love all wkend. But we missed them so much!
   We arrived to the hotel and checked in, we had to go to a meeting for employees and spouses. They went over retirement and insurance...
   We went back to the room and took a shower and got dressed to go to cocktails at 6pm. We went to the golf resort down the street from the casino. What a beautiful club house! we had dinner and awards upstairs. I had redfish with a butter and rosemary, with green beans, and a potato, Chris had the same but steak. The food was great! For dessert we had ice cream with peach cobbler, YUMMY! Then it was time for my Lovie to shine!!!! I knew in my heart that he had won! I was glowing with pride!
   When we arrived back to the hotel it had turned chili! We went to our room and changed clothes, we went over to the casino to find a coffee shop. Bingo!!! We had a yummy warm cup of coffee and then headed back over to slip into a sweet slumber.
   The next morning we went to breakfast together. I felt horrible, I prolly should have stayed in bed, but I would not have seen Lovie till that afternoon, so... After we finished breakfast, Chris grabbed his clubs and headed to the meeting and then to play golf. I got back into my jammies and under the covers! Lovie called around 11am and I was in lala land big time! ~*giggle*~ I talked to him a bit then went back to lala land... Before I knew it Lovie was knocking on the door and calling my cell again to get me to the door. I had slept all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It felt great, but I sure didn't! Lovie took a shower and I got redressed to go to dinner. We went to bed early since Lovie had another early morning.
   Sunday morning Lovie went to his last meeting and I got ready and packed out luggage. We headed home around 10am!!! going to see our puppies!!!!!
   We had a great time, I just wish I was not sick threw the whole wkend! But I would have not missed seeing my Lovie be awarded for all his hard work! I love you so much My Lovie and I am VERRA proud of you! Sell, sell, sell...

   It FINALLY arrived!! YAHOO!!!! Now I am ready to paint and go shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will paint the walls cream and buy black and cream accessories!







   Our New Year wkend was fun! We left on Thursday instead of Wednesday because I started to get sick. Thursday night we went to Catfish Charlies with family and friends. We laughed and ate so much till we all were stuffed and tired!
   We had a get together at our campsite New Years Eve day. We had cocoa and cookies. Everyone and enjoyed each others company very much. The weather was kinda warm for cocoa, but we had some anyway! We even had a fire, but had to sit back from it ~*giggle*~ This is the second year we have done this, so I think we will do it every year now!!!
   New Years Eve was alot of fun. We sat with our friends at the dance and watched the clock. When it got close to midnight we all went by the huge bonfire to wait for the count down! When the clock struck 12 we all kissed and hugged! There is nothing better than ringing in the New Year with the ones you love!
   New Years day I stayed in bed till 2pm! Sore throat and throbbing head! a STINCKEN head cold! blaaaaaa! After I finally drug myself out of bed and got dressed I went over to my sisters to eat New Years dinner. My sister was in bed with hives!!!! poor thing did not get to come out of her camper till the next day! After we ate we rode the golfcarts. Momma and Daddy went in kinda early to get some rest. We had friends visit at our campsite for awhile to sit by the fire. We had friends camping across from us. They came over to play cards and video games for a while, then it was off to bed for all of us!
   Sunday we got home around and relaxed. I went to bed with Nywuil and tissues! So far our week has been busy!!!! I have to get everything done tomorrow for the puppie sisters to stay the wkend with the pups. And I need to get all the laundry done so I can pack for a wkend away. Gone to lay on the sofa and watch movies, then it is off to bed with Nywuil again! Have a great night!

    I am here but sick, I am trying to watch this new show Medium, oh it is great so far!! I will try to write about our New Year wkend in the morning, if I am feeling up to it, have a head cold! Have a great night!
