Confessions of a Giggling Drama Queen...

Happy Turkey Day!!!! We have been to Lovie's families today and ate toooooo much, now we are settled in waiting onhis Mom to get here and watch some movies!!! Hope you had a stuffing of a day! See ya Sunday, going to the campground in the morning for more Thanksgiving fun!!!

I am beat!!! We did more decorating today then went shopping! We got more of our gifts bought!! I do believe we look at every item in Target!!!! We also bought our wrapping paper, it is SOOO cool.... Well I am off to bed to snuggle up with my book, I have to get up early to go have a mammogram at 8am!!! Have a giggly night!

About an hour ago I heard "Pebble's" (my parents pup, she is staying with us while they are gone) barking. Chris was telling our kids to hush, I told him it was "Pebble's" and to go see what she was barking at, ha came back to bed and said he did not see anything. We settled back in and she is still barking, so I got up, only about 2 minutes had passed, I looked out our front door and there was a car in our ditch!!!!! NOT AGAIN!?!?!? I went back to get my robe and told him " you goofy thing did you not see that car?", he said he didn't!!!
   We went outside and the lady driving had called her hubby and he was there with her. It appeared maybe she had dosed off for a sec and went off the rode. She came in the ditch went over our driveway and back in the ditch. The front of her car was messed up, but thank God she was not hurt! Her dad and brother came and pulled her car out, it came right out with no problems. Poor lady was really shaken. She hugged me when the car came out saying, Thank God! I think it had hit her at that moment how lucky she was! Thank you God once again...
   It is FINALLY getting cooler here again!!! We had a unseasonable hot few weeks! I just hope it stays cool for Thanksgiving!!!! I am ready to wear sweaters, tights and boots!!! Well have a giggly day, I need another cup of coffee. "It's amazing how you don't hear from a person till they want something"!

We had a FULL wkend! One of our local malls was giving away $25 shopping cards to the first 1000 shoppers!!! Which was perfect because we were starting our Christmas shopping on Saturday! We got in line and got out cards!! $50 comes in handy this time of year!!Yahoo!!!!!!!!!! We did some shopping and then went to eat Mexican then headed home for the game!





   Sunday we sleep , well...Lovie sleep till 11am, I was up at 9:30am ~*giggle*~ We got dressed and went to town. We had to go to Wally World! Lovie cooked, fried chicken, field peas, rice & gravy and cornbread! It was SOOOOO YUMMY! I told Momma she has created a monster giving him all her cooking tips!!!! His cornbread tasted like mommas!
   While in Wally World there was a little boy about 5, running up and down the meat department screaming HEYYYY!!!! I thought right off "oh what a bad child" then I realized he was autistic. His Mom keep her eyes on him as he was going around picking out his favorite things and was telling her about them. This man SCREAMED at the little boy "Stop screaming in this store!". His mother told the rude man, "he is disables"! He told her she was disabled for not making her son behave! She told him he or she could not help it, he called her a "dumb bitch"!!!
   Now you know me, Lucy always getting in trouble! I went back down to where I could see him, and told him how he was very rude and he should be ashamed of himself! The poor lady was crying, and was saying how sorry she was, I told her not to let him get to her! She said I am trying to do my best, I told her not to worry, living in the town we do is nice, but we have to put up with stupid rednecks like him! What an idiot! I felt so sorry for her! I hope the rest of her and her sons day was a good one. They will be in my prayers.
   I am getting some things done this week to prepare for decorating this wkend!!! We are so busy Thanksgiving we always decorate the week before. We will not do outdoors till the wkend after Thanksgiving. But we will start this coming wkend inside and I will work on it all next week. HEAUX! HEAUX! HEAUX! Only 41 more days!!!!
   OMG! I am flipping between Martha Stewart and Jerry Springer! On Jerry there is a man that is sleeping with his niece and he wants to tell his wife about it. The wife is pregnant. The nice comes out trying to hit the wife! Then she telling her Unlce/Lover she is in love and sleeping with his daughter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She told Jerry she is a lessy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! What a tangled web we weave!!!! Only on Jerry!?! Now the two "lessies" are beating the crap out of each other!!!!! And the wife is chanting "Kick her ass", "Kick her ass'!!!!

   Anyway...I went to the doctor Friday, and of course the doctor was running about 45 minutes behind! Before he came back, he had to go to the hospital for a delivery!!! So I saw the nurse practitioner. She told me she doesn't "see" any reason I am not getting pregnant, but it could be a blocked tube, ( I only have one!) or it could be Lovie since he was premature and was in Desert Storm (the "shots"!!!) So...We will start testing in January to find out what the problem is. So maybe there is still hope for us! Keep us in your prayers!!!!
   Well this basket of clothes is not getting folded, so I guess I better get to it! Have a giggly day!!

I can not wake up today! I go from not sleeping to not being able to get awake!!! GRRRRRR! I guess I can wake up because of this dreary weather. I am ready for the cool weather that is suppose to be here! I want to wrap up in a blanket with thick socks on my feet!!!
   We are going to start our Christmas shopping Saturday. The game comes on at 2:30pm so it will not be a full day for us! But hopefully we can knock out part of our Christmas List!!!
   What is worse Brittany Spears or Marguerite Perrin? Neither are worse they are both bottom of the SWAMP!!! Of all people to be on TV from Louisiana!!! White Trash and Mrs. Insane! I can not get over how Mrs. Perrin acted on NATIONAL TV!!!! What a bible beaten nut case! I was so embarrassed for her family.    In the book I am reading, Can you Keep a Secret, one character brags about the price he paid for his car, how more pathetic can a person get? How shallow to brag about how much you paid for something. Get a LIFE! Gansta ride!
   I am SOO ready or thanksgiving dinner!! YUMMY! 14 days and counting!!! Gone to soak in a hot bath! have a giggly rest of your day!

Last night "Belle", "Lexi" and I were in bed sound asleep, I rolled over and my knees bumped "Belle"...She started SCREAMING! I jumped up and Lovie came running in, we picked her up and she was still yelping. We put her on the bed and she stopped and tried to walk and yelped again. We got her back asleep, but even so often she would cry out. First thing this morning Lovie took her to the vet, they checked her and said she had a compressed disk in her neck and muscle trauma! HOW BAD do I feel?!?!?! HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! I injured my lil baby!!! I cried of course! The vet gave her meds to take everyday till she is better.
   We had to leave the house for a bit, we both were a little nervous about leaving her. Went went on to the grocery, and hurried back. We got to the door and heard "Belle" barking happily!!! We went in and she was running and playing!!! Oh how my heart lifted!!! We bought her a snugly pillow to lay on while recouping, she loves it!
   My Momma is leaving in the morning to go to Florida with my Daddy. They will be there till Dec.7. I will miss our daily chats on the phone every morning while watching The View, but we can video chat!!! Hopefully this month will pass fast!
   Last night we went to dinner with my parents, my Aunt and Uncle from Missouri (momma's sister), my sister and brother-in-law at Boutin's. Oh the plum sauce! YUM-ME! The food was great, the music got our feet jigging, and the company was wonderful. I love spending time with my Aunt and uncle, I wish we all lived closer!
   Lovie cooked a chocolate fudge cake with toasted pecans, I am going to cut me a piece !!!!!! It is almost time for Mad TV!!!! Have a great rest of your wkend!

   I feel a little better today...That is not saying much though! My sister called this morning to check on me and we laughed, it felt great! It is sad to say that I get very angry when I wake up every morning! I ask myself WHY!?!?!?!? I am sick of this! I have an appointment with my GYN, I hope she can help! I know I need more than that, but I do think she can help me too. I am going to soak in a hot bath.
