Confessions of a Giggling Drama Queen...

   Lovie and I both received cold for Christmas! Blah, Blah, Blah...Blah, Blah Blah... His started the day before Christmas Eve, mine started the day after Christmas.
   We had a GREAT Christmas! Lots of food was consumed!!!! I had to stop and get Pepto on the way to his Dads Chrismtas morning! We laughed more in two days than we have in a long time!!! Santa Paws brought the puppy kids lots of goodies!!! "Belle" can not decide which to play with first, she runs around the pile sniffing each new toy!!! Hope your Chrismtas was merry also!!
   More on another day...I need to take meds and get in the bed, I am going to my GYN in the morning for a consultation on getting our testing started!!!! HOPEFULLY we will be prego in a few months!! Have a giggly night!

   4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is cooking day!!! I will start my Chex Mix this morning and cook it all day (due to how much I make) I can not wait to have that smell in the house! YUM! I also have a lot more cooking to get done too, so it will be in the kitchen for the next few days!!!!!
   I have three gifts left to wrap, but all of our shopping is finally done, Lovie took care of the last one yesterday! YAHOO!!!! I have a few thing left to get together for the family, but that will have to wait till Friday.
   Lovie painted and put new cabinets, a new sink faucet in our bath room. And a new kitchen faucet. I will post pics soon... Speaking of pics...Take a look at my honey babies!!!! I miss them SOOOOO verra much, North Carolina is TOO far away!









   Guess I better get in the kitchen! Lots to do! Hope your Christmas week has been a great one so far!!! Merry Chrismtas!

   My Momma is home!! YAHOO!!!! Daddy had to go back to work , but he will be home for a week for Christmas!
   Friday night we stayed in, it was cold out!!! Saturday we went shopping for Lovie a new driver and putter for his birthday. He got a driver, a putter and new golf shoes!!! I got a pair of New Balance!! And two tees. Then we went to Target to pick up a few things. We stayed up late watching TV and on our computers.




   Sunday morning we got up early and headed for the golf coarse! It was COLD!!!! I forgot my glove so I did not play, I just drove Lovie and drank hot chocolate!!! We had to go by Wal Mart on the way home to pick up some pics, then it was homeward bound for a nap!!!! I had the BEST nap in my recliner!!!!
   Momma went with us Sunday night to eat mexican! VERRA yummy!!! We rode and looked at Christmas lights before going to eat. The restaurant we choose was very crowded, they had a party of 60 pint sized cheerleaders!!!! VERRA NOISY!!!
   Momma came over tonight to watch Survivor Finale that we recorded last night. Lovie cooked lasagna and garlic bread! YUM! "Lexi" must have missed her Nana while she was gone, she got in her lap for some snuggling!!! Well...I am off to bed with my book...have a giggly night!!!

   I am SOOOO aggravated with Cox Cable!! We have been having a problem with our analog channels...The get pixelated then the channel goes black! So we call for a tech, he comes out looks at our setup them starts pulling cable wire from behind the entertainment center and says "we don't need all this"! and CUTS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After Lovie got here he still had not got the the cable to work, he tried two new boxes then running the cable to this van all kinds of things and NOTHING would work! Lovie told him to just put it back the way it was when he got here, so he did. Now the surround sounds like crap and the analog channels are screwing up again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best part of all is he gave us a card with his superviser's name and number and told US to call him to see what the problem is!?!?!?!?!?!?! Lovie keep asking him questions and he would say "I don't know, I just really don't know" Then why are you a service tech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????????? I hate stupid people! I am not a happy camper today not at all..................... It is time for Hot Chocolate and my book!

   We had a GREAT wkend!!! Friday night we went downtown to the Festival of Lights, what FUN!!!! We started out by listening and signing Christmas carols, then walked to the Old Governors Mansion to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, then on to The First Presbyterian Church for the living manger and town of Bethlaham display. Then it was back to the Old State Capital to see Santa in The Senate. We ran into some friends and talked with them for a bit. We stopped at Sonic on the way home for a burger, we were verra hungry!
   We both got on our computers when got home and settled in to watch the game. I took a much needed nap! I woke up to watch LSU get stomped by Georgia! Come on Tigers what is the deal?!??!?!? Lovie had given up and changed the station! I finished watching The Wizard of Oz. We both stayed up late watching TV and on our computers.
   I had planned on sleeping in this morning, but...My eyes popped open at 9am! POO! Lovie got up after I did and we made coffee. Around 1pm we decided to go to PetsMart to do a little Puppy Claus shopping for the kiddies. A friend of our called from the campground and we meet them at Chilies for some food and visitation. We had a nice visit with them. After we headed over to PetsMart and bought some great goodies for our fur babies! We came home stuffed the stockings (we always do that to keep the lil stinkers out of their goodies!!) and settled in for the night. I am watching Desparate Housewives then it is off the bed with my book. Hope you had a great wkend!!!

   Hope your Thanksgiving was a great one! We had a good one! Thursday morning we sleep late, we were due at Pawpaw's for 2pm to eat, we headed that way around noon. After some verra yummy food and great visit we headed over to Lovie's Dad's. Lovie ate a little dressing and turkey and I had a piece of pecan pie there. Lovie's Dad had tried a new sweet potato recipe, which added pineapple to it, it had rave reviews, I did not try it, but I am sure it was yummy. We had a great visit there too! He headed home to meet Lovie's Mom, she was coming for movie night and to stay the night with us. We watched The Honeymooners, it was good but not as funny as I thought it would be.
   Friday we went to the campground for the wkend. That afternoon we had Thanksgiving dinner again with my sister and her hubby. We all went to bed early that night. Saturday we lounged most of the day then got dressed and us four went to Slidell to Sam's and then to dinner at Ground Patti. Lovie, Tink and I bought books, so we all we ready to get in our campers and snuggle up with them!!!!! Lovie stayed up all night and finished his book. I woke at 5:45am got dressed packed up and we headed home around 6am!!! We were home, unpacked and showered and in the bed by 7:15am!!!!!! We napped most of the day. We had a great Thanksgiving Holiday!
   This week has pasted FAST!!!! Lovie stayed home today because our insurance agent was coming by. We have made a claim for wind damage to our home. Well...They had sent someone out a few weeks ago to take pics and such, well those pics and that person are no where to be found! So we are having to start over!!!!!! There is a good bit of damage to the house, the back porch has moved away from the the house, all our door frames have cracks above them, our floor tiles are cracking off the floor, and the whole house shakes when you walk!!!!! I am nervous about what is about to take place!!! I have a feeling we are gonna be out of our house for a while...
   Our friends that went to Disney with us just found out they are having a baby!!!!!! We are SOOOOOOO excited for them! She is due in early July, thank goodness she will not have to go trough the hot part of summer!!! I can not wait to spoil the lil one rotten!!! ~*giggle*~
   Our "Mr. Felix Unger" is growing like wild fire...Check him out, what a handsome kitty!!!





   Well I am off to snuggle with my book, I hope my legs calm a bit, I am having leg cramps!!!!! And back to not sleeping much! blah! Have a giggly night!
