Confessions of a Giggling Drama Queen...

   I am a little sad that we are missing out on this historical Mardi Gras! But it is going to be pretty crazy in N.O.!! We rode to Baton Rouge to the Spanish Town Parade...CRAZINESS!!!!! The parade had just rolled and we rode through the streets to see the aftermath!!! WOW!!! Go HERE to see pics!
   I will NEVER miss for ANY reason this parade in the future!! It looked like a lot of fun! I liked that they poked fun at our politicians!!! Gotta LOVE Louisiana politics!
   I am SOOOO sick of hearing everyone on TV nagging about spending money on Mardi Gras verse the rebuild! COME ON, GIVE ME A BREAK! They have NO CLUE how much money these folks spend out of their own pockets to put on these parades, it is not the city or government that does it! The money that is coming into the city right now it worth it! They need all the tourist monies they can get right now! I say bring it on! HAPPY MARDI GRAS CHE'R!
   Sunday night I couldn't have asked for more! I had my puppie girls, magazines, the Sunday paper, my book, a bottled water, in my king bed and Gone With The Wind was on! It was all about me! I felt like I was on my own private island, I told Lovie, to get away, he was not allowed on my island, girls only (with the exception of "Elizah" under the bed) then...He brought me dinner in bed!!!!!!!!! So...I let him on my island! ~*giggle*~

   Ok we got our dates for our March trip...March 31 till April 2 We will be staying at Tapatio Springs, which is in the Texas Hill Country twenty minute from San Antonio. My spa appointments and Lovie's tee times have been set! I can not wait! Verra busy, gotta fold clothes and pack for the wkend! Have a giggly night!

   We are home!!! We got in around 10pm Monday night. We had such a good time! Friday morning we woke early and headed out. Our first stop was the Georgia Aquarium. It was verra crowded with at least 50 school bus' of children of all ages! After fighting that crow we went to The Underground. We had lunch in a great lil bistro then did some shopping. They had alot of little booths in the center that had fake Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Rolex ect... Made me laugh!
   Saturday morning we had breakfast with Lovie's sister and children then went to Stone Mountian. It was a bummer that most everything was closed for the season, but we had a great time. We ate lunch in the park at a great home cooking type restaurant. We all had to catch our rolls! I had roasted turkey, sweet potato casserole, and cornbread dressing! YUM - ME! We went to the gift shop and had a ball buying for the kids...And ourselves ~*giggle*~ We had Mexican for dinner that night that was out of this world.
   Sunday morning we woke early again and headed to Dahlonega, the first Gold Mining town of the US. We did more shopping!!! Then we headed more north to Helen an Alpine Village, which is like stepping into another country! We ate lunch first next to the river but it was TOO cold to eat outside.
   Monday morning we got on the road and headed north again toward Chattanooga. We went to Rock City, it was icy and verra cold! So we only went into the gift shop. We rode across Lookout Mountain toward Trenton, Georgia (we lived there in 94) There was snow and ice on top of the mountain!!!! As we came down the mountain the ice and snow was gone, but it was still cold. We went by our lil house we lived in to show Momma. Our lil house was on the foothills of Sand Mountain and looked towards Lookout Mountian.



   We went through Fort Payne, Alabama and ate at the Cracker Barrel and did yet MORE shopping!!! Gotta Love IT! We saw Randy Owens ( lead singer of Alabama ) home on the mountain side. It is a beautiful town!
   Now I will be counting down the day till our next adventure!!! Lovie won a trip to a Spa Resort in north Texas, which we are going to in March. Then I will be REALLY counting the days till Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We leave the day after Thanksgiving!!! YAHOOOOOO!!!!    I was enlightened last night while reading in bed that we are going to Disney in the fall !!!!!!!!!!!!!! How excited am I ? VERRA, VERRA, VERRA EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "I'm going to Disney World!"

   Happy Valentines Day!!! I hope everyone had a great valen with their lovie!!! I did!!! ~*giggle*~ We had a late supper and both are settled in on our computers. But it is just about time for cough meds and bed! The past two nights Lovie has been coughing verra bad all night! He got a cough drop last night but it did not help too much! Will this madness ever end, we leave for Atlanta Thursday and the weather is going to be cold and rainy one day!!!! Not a great mix for two sick-o's!!!!!
   I did a high light tonight!!! It is GREAT to be BLONDE!!! HEHEHEHEHEHE Now in the morning I will cut it all off!!! Well...Not all of it, but I like it short! Well it is that time, YUCKIE meds!!! Have a giggly rest of your Valentines!!!!

I felt lots better today till I laid down for a nap at 3pm and woke at 4pm! I was stuffed up and my throat hurting! What a bummer! I took a hot shower which helped unstuff my nose!
My poor "Lolly" had to get a shot today! He called my Momma to tell her about it and about what he saw on the way to school this morning...SNOW FLAKES!!!!!
Well I hate to cut it short but the Olympics are starting!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to watch!!! Have a giggly night!!!

   Lovie and I are still both sick...I am feeling somewhat better today, Lovie is about a day behind me on symptoms. I stayed in bed most of the last two days. My poor nose is raw and chapped from blowing and wiping!
   My sweet Lovie picked up the house and vacuumed for me yesterday, I did two load of clothes...And that was the extent of house cleaning for us! The rest can wait till this wkend! EVERYTHING has to be done this wkend, because I have a million things to do next week to get ready for Atlanta! Well nothing more to talk about since I have sleep my week away! Have a giggly night!

   Lovie and I are BOTH sick AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Sneezing, sore throat, aching bodies, BLAH! I am sick of being sick!! We have to get well before we leave for Atlanta!
   We had to empty my tank today! My fish had ick and then the tank turned on me! Soooo...Lovie bought me an under gravel filtration system and a couple new fish. We cleaned everything and put fresh water in. Lovie also gave me two of his live plants. Wish me fishies luck!!!
   My Momma is coming home tomarrow!! YAHOO!!!! Well it i stime for soup for my poor throat! Ouchie Poo! have a great night!

   I went to bed last night and sleep for only about an hour! I got up and went back into the living room and turned on my computer and the TV. We had some really bad weather last night so I keep the TV on The Weather Channel! I went back to bed around 6am and sleep for about four hours. So needless to say I have taking a "lil helper" so I can get some rest tonight! (Oh wait am I putting TOO much info on the web? is my hubby gonna kick my a$$? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! because I would NEVER be with THAT TYPE of JERK! That's talking like a man, YEAH!!!! It would have been your A&& kicked the FIRST TIME YOU SCREWED UP!!! )
   Anyway..........................I am eyeglass shopping I have fallen IN LOVE with LaFont eyewear!!! They have SOOO many colors to choose from! click HERE and click on the pic to see the colors!!!!    Well my lil helper is kicking in and the keys are starting to dance around, so I better get in the bed! Have a giggly sleepful night!!!

   I am not really in a talkative mood! I am not feeling well. Lovie and I have been sneezing our heads off!!! I hope that we are not getting sick again! I have been watching QVC most of the day! They have been having GREAT sales on spring clothes!!! hehehehehe!
   I went shopping after dropping Momma off and bought a pair of embellished jeans, a tunic and a pair of shoes! On the way home I stopped to get some bleach, a lemon cake mix, and lemon icing. That cake is gonna be yummy later tonight! yum! Well it is time to watch TV, have a giggly night!
