Confessions of a Giggling Drama Queen...

My heart is broken! My poor lil bubbie died without me or his Daddy there! He was hit by a car Friday afternoon, Lovie and I was not home. A lady stopped to help him because he was still moving and rushed him to the vet, I hope and pray he was not too frightened without us. The vet told Lovie there was nothing they could have done for him, my poor, poor baby boy! I feel sooooo guilty for making him live outside! He was cremated today. My "Elizah" is gone...

   Daddy is feeling better with each passing day. He has had a home health nurse come to check him. He goes back to the doctors in a week.
   We had Taylor Saturday. We went to LSU, we went into the Union and wanted to see Mike the Tiger, but is was sooooo hot he was napping in the shade!!! I didn't blame him one bit!







   After we drove around a bit to cool off we headed to the movies...Monster House in 3D!!!!!!!!!!! I twas WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had parts that made me jump!!!!! Taylor got to meet a friend while there, see...



   We too him to World Market after the movie. He found LOTS of goodies!!! He LOVED the store!!! hehehe I knew he would!!! We ended our day with a bite to eat...Chinese! YUM! Taylor ate so much he found his twin!?!?!



   I went to the eye doctor today...My sight is a little worse than in 2004 and my astigmatism is two clicks worse!!! So my script on my glasses go UP!!!! But I picked out some realy pretty glasses...Verra Wang...Brown on the outside with Lavendar on the inside and little jewels on the sides! VERRA PRETTY! I can not wait to get them!!!!!!
   I go Wednesday for my post op appointment for my cyst and the "thingy" on my back!!! I will be glad to get that over with!!!

My Daddy had open heart surgery Wednesday. They did triple bypass. He is doing great and will be coming home Sunday!! Thank you for the thoughts and prayers! I will try to post again soon, have a great night!

   It feels like Monday, but it is HUMP DAY!!!!! Yahoo!!!!!!! I LOVED having Lovie for four days!!!! It was hard to have him leave this morning!
   Yesterday afternoon we went to Baton Rouge to see the fireworks. They had all kinds of goodies to eat and drink. We had a snowcones, Lovie had strawberry, I had bubblegum (which we think was blue cocoanut LOL) verra yummy.
   We watched a street performer do some magic, he was really good. A hot air balloon was in the sky, I think they were giving rides but they did not do it for long, I wanted to ride! We listen to some great music.
   We headed up to our seat and found my niece & nephew with their fiancees, they came and sat with us. We had a balcony on the 9th floor of the court house. PREFECT view!









   Mikayla had a great time on the swing with Big Chris at the campground See how high she went!

   Happy 4th of July!!! We have had a full long wkend so far! We went to the campground Friday after Lovie's Mom came on her way in from Atlanta to visit for a few hours. We went to dinner with Momma, Daddy, Taylor and Mikayla. Lovie, Taylor and Mikayla went to "the bar" to get a drink..........TOO CUTE!





   Lovie and I were busy all wkend with taking pics! It was hot, but thank goodness we had a breeze due to the clouds, so it really wasn't; THAT BAD outdoors!
   My niece and her boyfriend were in from Orlando visiting. Well he surprised her with asking her to marry him!!!!! WE were very EXCITED about this!!!!! Congrats my honies!!!



   Well it is off the Baton Rouge tonight to watch the fireworks display! I am praying the rain will hold off! Hope you are having a great holiday with your loved ones!
