Baseball Cards

In 1982 Cracker Jack offered as mail-in premiums these two sheets of uncut All Time Baseball Greats baseball cards, one sheet for the American League and one for the National League. Each sheet includes eight baseball cards with a Cracker Jack card in the middle. Each baseball card, when cut, has Cracker Jack confection as the outside border, with Sailor Jack and Bingo in the lower right corner. The American League cards are trimmed with red, and the National League with green.

 

American League Players

The players featured from the American League are Mickey Mantle, Al Kaline, Tony Oliva, Harmon Killebrew, Bob Feller, Whitey Ford, Brooks Robinson, and Larry Doby.

 

National League Players
The National League players featured are Ernie Banks, Warren Spahn, Ralph Kiner, Willie Mays, Duke Snider, Hank Aaron, Robin Roberts, and Eddie Matthews.

According to the order form from the in-store display, both of these Cracker Jack/Topps Chewing Gum baseball card sheets were available with the required "Certificate" and the foil "Cracker Jack" portions from eight box tops (or four box tops for one sheet), plus 35¢ postage and handling. The offer expired December 31, 1982.

 

Mickey Mantle Card - Back
The backs of the cards include player statistics and career summaries, as well as the Sailor Jack and Bingo logo, the Topps and Borden copyrights, and the date.

The baseball cards are printed on heavy card stock. Each full sheet is 7 1/2" wide and 10 1/2" tall.
