Cracker Jack Football Bead Game

Football Bead Game

This 1961 paper and plastic Football bead game is one of a series of 18 Cracker Jack prizes called "Vacuum Formed Skill Ball Games" and was supplied by the Makatoy Company. It is 1 3/8"x 1 3/4" and has a copper ball. Though all of the bead games in this series have one metal ball, not all are copper; some are shiny silver, probably steel. This may indicate that the series was issued more than once. Examples of the same bead game can be found with the two different types of balls.

Many of the games in this series are sports related, some are mazes, a couple are space oriented, and one is a "loves me/loves me not" daisy. These dexterity games have no instructions or anything else on the back; they are not identified as Cracker Jack prizes anywhere on them.
