Cracker Jack Tin Litho Garage

Tin Litho Garage

This tin litho garage was designed by C. Carey Cloud and used as a Cracker Jack prize in 1945. The side of the garage opposite the yellow automobile shows the silhouette of two men in hats shaking hands under a street lamp, with a dog standing behind one of the men.

The garage measures approximiately 1 1/8" wide by 1 11/16" tall by 1 5/8" deep. Cloud creatively used the exact die-cut form for three other Cracker Jack prizes: a table radio, a table clock, and an electric stove, all distributed as prizes in 1945. None of these are marked to indicate they are Cracker Jack prizes.
