This free Mark McGwire & Cracker Jack Back to School Ruler was available exclusively at Wal-Mart beginning mid-July 2000 while supplies lasted, no purchase necessary. It is 6" x 1-3/4" and has a two-view lenticular (to-and-fro wiggle picture) on the front.

One view has a 6-inch ruler with the Rawlings logo and Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals swinging the bat, and reads "Mac's golden rule . . . ." The other view is a centimeter ruler and shows Sailor Jack and Bingo with the Cracker Jack logo, and says ". . . stay in school!"

The back has interesting "Did You Know" Mac facts and "Mark McGwire's Monumental Home Runs" dates and locations printed in shades of blue and white.

The rulers were distributed via dispenser boxes with red and white striped sides attached to Wal-Marr Cracker Jack display racks.
