Weather Indicator

Campfire Weather Indicator

This weather indicator is approximately 1 3/4" x 1 5/16" and is made of paper, but it has a fuzzy coating where the smoke is.  According to the back of the prize, "The fuzzy coating on the campfire's smoke changes color as the weather does.   When it's pinkish-beige, expect rain or high humidity.  When it turns blue, look for a clear sky & dry day."

The back of the prize folds out horizontally to create an easel, so that it can be placed near a window or door and away from heat.

This campfire scene is #14 of prize series Z-1406 and is dated 1979.  There are 30 different weather indicators in the series.
