My name is Susan Parker,  I Live in RI. I am married to my wonderful husband Harry (who is also an obedience instructor and featured with me in the above picture), Together we have three grown children.
. I have been studying dog obedience training since 1997 utilizing numerous obedience training techniques. I am a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I am also registered with the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Myself and my family proudly own and care for several American Pit Bull Terriers/ American Staffordshire Terriers and one yellow lab/golden retriever as well as a few rescued cats. Other breeds my family has owned and trained are: Dobermans, German shepherds, and collies.

I am the founder of the Shelter Dog Behavioral enhancement program This program is extremely important in helping make sure the resident shelter dogs are provided with the proper mental and physical stimulation to fit their needs along with fine-tuning their behavior to facilitate successful adoptions. These are simple but extremely useful commands that will greatly increase the dog's odds of being considered highly adoptable. While in the shelter, I focus on teaching the dogs my Dog Manners 101 course. This course entails obedience instructions on: leash training, no jumping, sit, stay and getting the dog to behave in public places. I am also the founder of The Dog's Day at the Park Program.

My work in animal rescue and training has recently won a  NATIONAL AWARD for training and placement of hard to place pets for Maddie's Fund ~ Petfinder.com

I currently work with dogs located in Coventry, West Warwick,  Cumberland, Cranston, and Warwick, RI.
