Shelter dogs can and do make wonderful companions. We at Dynamic Dog Training Services spend countless hours volunteering with shelter dogs, evaluating them, obedience training them and help transition them into becoming wonderful dogs that will make great family pets. Working with the dogs while they are awaiting their forever home greatly increases the chances for a successful adoption.

Susan Parker Owner of Dynamic Dog Training Services, wrote and designed a program called "The Shelter Dog Behavior Enhancement Program". This program is ran and operated by Susan, who works with dogs awaiting adoption. This program is extremely important in helping make sure the resident shelter animals are provided with the proper mental and physical stimulation to fit their needs along with fine-tuning their behavior to facilitate successful adoption.

Susan also trains shelter volunteers that are interested in learning the proper steps needed to train shelter dogs to become good citizens. These are simple but extremely useful commands that will greatly increase the dog's odds of being considered highly adoptable. Susan focuses the training on her Dog Manners 101 course which includes but is not limited to: Leash training, no jumping, sit, stay and getting the dog to behave in public places.
