Biblical answers to questions you and those around you are asking or should be asking.

1 GOD REVEALS HIMSELF IN CREATION

Last week, we said that God has revealed Himself.  One of the ways He has revealed Himself is by His creation.  Psalm 19 says that every second all of creation is revealing God and giving testimony to His glorious character (also see 50:6, 97:6; Ro. 1:19-20).

2 WHAT DO WE KNOW FROM CREATION?

God has revealed many things to us through the Creation.  Here are seven things that every person knows:

  1. God is all powerful (Ro. 1:20)
  2. We are entirely dependant on God for everything we have - all we have comes from Him (1 Cor. 4:7)
  3. We are dependent upon God for continued existence (sustains)  (He. 1:3)
  4. We owe God continual awe, worship and thanks (1 Ti. 4:4; Ro. 1:21)
  5. We are to trust Him for all things because everything comes from Him (Matt. 6:25-32)
  6. We are obligated to see how He wants us to live and then live accordingly (Acts 17:24-27)
  7. We know that God will judge us one day for the way us have responded to His revelation (Acts 17:29-31)

3 SO WHAT?

The world today tries to find ways around there being a creator who is God.  This steals away the glory that belongs God alone and gives the glory to man.  Yet, God says that He will not share His glory with anyone (Is. 42:8), and that He is angry with all those who try to steal His glory (Ro. 1:18-23).  As Christians, we must remember to trust God in all circumstances, and give Him honor in all things (Pro. 3:5-6; 1 Co. 10:31).  Let us rejoice in Him, and offer the praise that He is due (Ps 97:12)!
