ARMSTRONG

There are many Armstrong families in the Cumberland Co, PA area. Unfortunately, I have been unable to connect this James to any of them. His daughters, especially Isabella and Mary, married prominent men and he appeared to have ample property in his will. However, that has been of no help in making a connection for him. I have been reduced to doing it backwards. That is, tracing all the others until I find one that has not been eliminated by other information. Then exploring that one aggresively to try and prove a connection. So far, no luck.
