This book is about considerations.  It is a compilation of reflections and contemplations and ideas.  It is an unfolding of my thoughts and research and studies over the past decade as I have been challenged countless times to seek answers to what I believe.

Before I say anymore, let me first make mention that I offer up no apologies for my belief in the triune God:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  However, I am convinced that there are many out there who do not believe, or if they do, may doubt His personal presence in their lives.  This is not a book to try to persuade you to become a believer or even to try to persuade you toward MY way of thinking, for I am not able.  Only God can do that.  Rather, this book offers up a challenge to you, the reader; therefore, it is intended to be interactive as you read what I have written and truly consider these truths.

Though my purpose in writing this is not to convince you toward my way of thinking, it is still necessary to say that it is my heart’s desire for many to be challenged to travel the journey that God wants to take you on in order to see that He is real indeed, and as a result of this unveiling for those who now see or will see in the future, it is my desire to throw out the challenge to truly seek God with all of your heart just as many have sought Him before us.  Ephesians 1:18-19:  I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. The information that I have gleaned and wish to pass on is not from me necessarily.  As Ecclesiastes 1:9 states, "There is nothing new under the sun."  There are many sources from which I have gathered information and many who have helped me along this road, some unknowingly. I am forever grateful to them.  God has used numerous ministries and books and friends to show me just what He wants me to know at different seasons in my walk with Him.  Certainly, the Bible has been my starting place along with much prayer.

I do not claim, by any means, to be any sort of a biblical scholar, or a writer for that matter.  However, I do believe, without a doubt, that God can and does use even the lowly to get His point across to whomever He is speaking to at the moment.  Perhaps that is you.  At one point, it was me, and still is as this road I am on is not a destination, but a journey.  The logical conclusion to the answers I sought was to write it all down.  In that sense, this work is inspired, not as the Holy Scriptures are inspired since He has already given us what we need to know in His Word, but inspired in that I am compelled to write them down in obedience to Jesus Christ and share them with the world as He has put on my heart.

Consider this book. My hope is that you will think for yourselves, you will be persuaded to research what I have written and take nothing I have said for granted, you will be encouraged to question and seek answers to those questions, you will be compelled to read the Word of God, and most importantly, your life will be changed.  Not only do I hope this will leave a legacy for the ones I love, especially my children:  Aaron, Laura, Amanda, Giovanna, and Matthew, and grandchildren, Aviana and those to come, but I pray your heart is touched in a way that only God can touch it.
