The records indicate he was taxed for 400 acre up until 1870, when it shows he was then taxed for only 100 acres., (2) Project Preservation, Franklin County Archives, Master File Record #6019, Possibly for Richard (only because the initials match and I have no other "R. S. Corn" for the time and place), it indicates that a "R. S. Corn" was taxed in District 8 durong 1863 as a "Gaurdian".) 28 Mar 1842 in Franklin Co., TN, son of WILLIAM CORN and NANCY SHARP.  He was born Abt. 1820 in Franklin Co., TN, and died Aft. 05 May 1869 in Franklin Co., TN.
