Sketches in the life and times of Jesse Corn, Sr. (1753-1809) Enter the world of Jesse Corn

Born in Albemarle County, VA in 1753, Jesse Corn became a soldier in the Revolution and was at Valley Forge.  After the war, he moved to Henry (later becoming Patrick) County, where he died in 1809. Articles herein include Sketches in the life and times of Jesse Corn  (see table of contents). Exhibits include a Bible page with his handwriting, his estate inventory, and other legal papers.  Transcripts of his military records, and his wife's pension request file will also be found, as well as a report listing his descendants.
