Johnson Creek '05

Here's an image I snagged on April 1st from the Johnson Creek Airport Webcam.  It still looks a bit chilly for my  

taste.

Here's a slightly fuzzy shot of he final approach to Johnson Creek.  There was a bit of canyon turbulence bumping

the camera when I took the pic.  The strip looks much bigger when you're sitting safely on the ground :-))

On a fuel flight to nearby McCall, we were reminded that tricky mountain winds can catch you by surprise.  The

pilot of this plane was caught by a crosswind gust, just before liftoff.
