Here is a little bit of my background:
 

I was born and raised in Southern California.  I am a graduate of USC (B.S. in Chemistry) and Northwestern University (M.S. in Civil Engineering).  I was an engineer for the U.S. Navy  for 6 years, and then I worked for an environmental consulting firm for 10 years before becoming a full-time mom.
 

My two boys now attend Serrano Intermediate School and El Toro High School.  I have been married 18 years - our family is active in music, sports, and the local Portola Hills community where we have lived for 13 years.
 

I believe that with my education, professional experience, and experience as an active community leader and parent I can benefit the city and make decisions on the issues affecting all of us in a fiscally responsible way.
