| IN AUGUST OF 2004, I CALLED AND VISITED STORES IN 7 STATES, THAT I KNEW CARRIED SMALL TO MEDIUM UTILITY TRAILERS. I TALKED TO STORES THAT WERE NOT IN THE SPORTS RELATED BUSINESS. THEY ADVISED ME THAT THEY SOLD FROM A LOW OF 2 AT ONE STORE TO A HIGH AT ANOTHER OF 22 TRAILERS A WEEK, MOSTLY TO SPORTS AND OUTDOOR RELATED CUSTOMERS. THE REASON I CALLED THEM WAS ABOUT 10 DAYS EARLIER I WAS HAVING A TALK WITH A EXECUTIVE OF A TRAILER MANUFACTURING COMPANY AND HE WAS BOASTING ABOUT THIS CUSTOMER SELLING 47,000 PLUS TRAILER A YEAR. WAL-MART IMMEDIATELY CAME TO MY MIND. WELL I WAS WRONG. THIS COMPANY ONLY HAD ABOUT 1/10 AS MANY STORES. | |

| OVER THE YEARS I HAD DESIGNED DIFFERENT SPECIALTY TRAILERS AND I DECIDED THE TIME HAS COME WITH THE CARS GETTING SMALLER AND THE SUV SALES LEANING TOWARD THE MINI VAN, THAT IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW TRAILER TO BE DESIGNED FOR THEM AND THE SMALLER CARS. THESE NEW TRAILERS WOULD HAVE TO BE LIGHT IN WEIGHT, YET BUILT STRONG AND MAINTENANCE FREE. I HAD SOLVED PART OF THE MAINTENANCE FREE OVER 20 YEARS AGO. GALVANIZED! THE ONE THING THAT STILL REMAINED A PROBLEM WAS THE OFF SEASON STORAGE AND THE MAINTENANCE TO THE WHEEL BEARINGS. IT WAS TIME CONSUMING AND COSTLY, AND COULD BE PERFORMED CORRECTLY BY ONLY A FEW PEOPLE. PART OF THE ANSWER WAS A COMBINATION OF A EASY TO MAINTAIN HUB WITH A LARGER BEARING ASSEMBLY AND A GREASE THAT WAS LOW FRICTION, THAT WORKED WELL AT HIGH AND BELOW ZERO TEMPERATURES WITH RESISTANCE TO WATER, WOULD NOT BREAK DOWN AT HIGH INTERSTATE SPEEDS AND THAT WAS HAND PUMP ABLE AT FREEZING TEMPERATURES.
