About Kevin Mark
Kevin Mark Harris arrived in our family on
September 28, 1972. He was born in St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa,
Florida while Sue and I were stationed at MacDill AFB. Kevin Mark
grew up as a typical Air Force Brat and lived in several different
states during his adolescent years including Florida, Texas, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Nebraska and Georgia. He also lived for
three years in the Philippines at Clark AB. We finally settled in
Warner Robins, Georgia in 1985 where he finished high school at Warner
Robins High School. Kevin Mark then went off to college, first at
Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia for two years, then to Valdosta
State University in Valdosta, Georgia where he was a theatre major.
While in college Kevin Mark was an active thespian and spent summers
doing summer stock theatre work at Jekyll Island, Georgia. As does
all good thespians, the New York bug bit him hard and he left for New
York City with the hopes of making his way in the theatre there.
He promised Dad and Mom that he would give it five years there and if he
had not "made it" by then, he would come back to Georgia, get his
teaching certificate and teach drama in high school. That was
about 14 years ago and he is still there. Over the years he found
his calling in the wardrobe field and has been very successful in on and
off Broadway productions, TV shows and several motion pictures.
The list below contains most of his credits. He is currently
working with Ugly Betty as a key costumer and just finished up this
season's shooting schedule (May 09).
