Game Selection Ideas: By Categories
NOTE: Again, these are generalities. One size does not fit all.
Something for the women -- Centipede. Possibly Ms. Pac-Man, Arkanoid, Frogger.
General Crowd Pleaser -- Driving Game
Kid Games (often physical/redemption) -- Skee-Ball, Whack-A-Mole, etc.
Pinball Game -- Something for the pinball fans.
Classic Arcade Games -- One of the many major classics from 1980-1983.
Vector Arcade Games -- Asteroids, Star Wars, Tempest, Star Trek, Battlezone, etc.
Electro-mechanical -- Old. Not usually used, but a possibility.
Black-and-white -- Not highly sought-after, but a possibility.
Recent games -- Something from the past few years for young 'hip' players.
Shooters -- Standard shoot 'em up space games.
Laserdisc -- Unique, but learn more about them before getting one.
Different cabinet types -- Cabaret, cockpit, cocktail table.
Video game consoles -- Modern or past home consoles with a selection of games.
Cartoon Movie Theather Booth -- Unusual and rare. Not usually used.
Japanese sit-at cabinet -- Unusual styling, large screen, good for kids too.
Bar-top arcade game -- Typically has some generic games.
Competitive physical games -- Foosball, Air Hockey
Large competitive physical games -- Take up a lot of room. Pool, ping-pong.
Dart Machine - The coin-op w/video are probably the best.
