From: computerspace@digital-star.com The pictures are of my gameroom as it was about a year ago. It's changed a bit since then, but you get the idea. Here are some specifics: The game is done with a 'space' theme. From about '69 up to 83 or so. That is the theme and game range. 60amps divided into 3 20 amp circuts. Rope lights around the ceiling - dimable 2 4' flourscent light fixtures with black light tubes (soon to be 3 of them) 2 walls painted black with orange, red, blue, yellow flourscent sponge painting 1 wall has a Saturn planet and moons mural 1 wall is light blue with dark blue and white sponge paint Ceiling is black with glow in the dark stars and planets hung from it. Also have a couple GI Joe astronauts and his space capsules suspended from the ceiling with him floating near them... well, I think he looks cool up there. ;^) Carpet is deep pile (easy on the feet and a good insulator) dark blueberry color. (static doesn't seem to be a problem with it.) Various posters and space memorbillia hung on the walls Approx 750 sq feet 1 large double door to the outside. 1 large single door (the size of a double!) and concrete ramp into the room from the garage. This is how I move games in and out. 1 30K btu wall heater for the winter 2 ceiling fans and 2 very small windows for summer - it's very well insulated so it's very cool in there in the summer. 1 very large - mostly black - pit couch in the movie area of the game room. C-Band satellite, S-VHS vcr, Sony DVD with 5.1 dolby (THX) sound - 5 speakers etc... 50" Mitsubitshi projection TV. 9" JVC 'Videosphere' b/w ball television. These are very cool looking '70's TVs. Hung near the entrance of the game room. I play Apollo 11 landing videos on the vcr and they go out to this TV. Atmosphere type of thing I guess... 1 Rowe/AMi R-89 (1984) juke box with 200 selections (all 80's music of course) 1 Rowe/AMi MM-4 (1970) juke box with 200 selections (all 70's and 80's music) 1 comercial popcorn popper! Classic console video games and carts (Atari 7800, Colecovision, hand held games) classic toys, video game memobillia on a shelf painted to match the wall it's against. 1 EM Pinball game (Skylab) 1 EM remote control wall game - Table Tennis 6 EM arcade games (Lunar Lander, Space Flight x2, Apollo 14, Road Runner, Target Zero) 1 cocktail video game (moon patrol) in front of the couch Video games are currently: Lunar Lander, Battlezone, Tempest, Space Duel, Star Wars / ESB, Star Trek (w/sega multigame), Starship 1, Sea Wolf, Orbit, BiPlane, Video Pinball, Boot Hill, Q*bert, Super Pac-Man, Gyruss, D.O.T., Maneater, and soon a Kozmik Krooz'r!
