COURSE INFORMATION FOR 2009-2010

Welcome, Algebra students and parents!

Math Help/Tutoring:  Math help is available at Mt. Everest at certain times.  These math help/tutoring times are NOT intended for instruction of new material.  Students are expected to have worked and studied at home, and they come to school for tutoring about concepts or procedures which they can not understand or with which their parents are unable to help.  The details concerning math help/tutoring at Mt. Monthly work: Important notes about the monthly math work:

• For best results when doing monthly work, read and follow http://pilgrimandpatriot.com/QMonthlyMathProgramGuidelines.pdf.  That covers more than just the monthly work, but the monthly work is only part of the monthly math program.
  
• Make sure that you complete all the work in the required exercises list from the math teacher (the yellow paper, which is also your cover sheet).  You receive that yellow paper each month when you take the test for the month before.  Copies are also available in room 3 and the front office.  Also, the monthly required work will be posted each month at this link: Required Monthly Math Work. 
  
• Remember to always show your work (show exactly how you arrived at the answer).
• For turning the work in:
  
• Use the yellow cover sheet/required work list, and follow the directions on the paper.
  
• Make sure you turn in this work on time. 
  
• Turn it in to your program instructor/supervising teacher, NOT the math teacher.
• Read "Important Math Dates" for when to turn in the monthly math work.
