Pictures from 9/99 taken at the Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Orlando, Florida. These tough leaved plants were seen frequently at this theme park in particular.

What is this plant? So far folks think.....

That this plant may be Rhaphiolepis indica "Magestic Beauty" , perhaphs a hybrid between R. indica (Indian hawthorn) and Eriobotrya deflexa (bronze loquat).

But, new info. was sent to me indicating that this may be a Mirror-Leaf Vibrurnum. Vibrurnum odoratissimum var. 'Awabuki'. Also that the above possible plant type relating to the photos is a much smaller growing plant it seems. Thanks to all who contribute here, and my usual spelling errors at times don't help!
