From online imput so far, folks feel this plant is Sesbania punicea. Another person felt it may be Clianthus puniceus. What do you think?!

ID this plant! Pictures from 9/99 taken at the Animal
Kingdom in Central Florida. I have 3 pictures here. To
the right is the flowering part of this plant and some
leaves. These pictures aren't the greatest and I am also trying to reduce file size. Not to really affect the picture quality, for a good balance of quality and download speed for you. |

Here is a close-up of the trunk of this small tree on the right and a picture of the seed pod and its seeds below. They appeared ripe in mid-Sept there. Good film helps! I wish I had bought more while there! These plants were not common in the Florida Theme parks, but not totally uncommon either there. Have you seen one there?
