For those of you who've not been following the saga all that closely, Candy and I moved to Tucson, Arizona from Stroudsburg, PA in May, 2003.

The company I'd worked with for the last decade was going through the tumors and terrors of a major reorganization. I took the opportunity to go into semi- retirement with a consulting contract. Now, we both work from home! The commute time for me has been reduced from over three hours a day driving (from our home in Stroudsburg, PA to my office in West Caldwell, NJ) to a short walk from the bedroom.

These pages are a running commentary on our life in Arizona, our travels, some rants, raves, reviews, updates and other little tidbits we think our friends might enjoy. They may not be as witty as I'd like to think I can be. They may be more utilitarian than aesthetic ... but then, they do serve a function.

So, here we are in Arizona. the skies are blue. Its hot, but it's a dry heat. We're here. Our friends and family are spread out all over.

The Blog

Incidentally, I've started a blog (web log). Don't ask! But you can check it out at http://joekoz451.blogspot.com/. It gets a little political around the edges and gets into all those things you're not supposed to talk about like religion - but you're more than welcome to join in with your own opinions if you like. Candy's Sunsets. One of the big draws for Candy has been the sunsets here in the Sonora Desert. They're unlike the sunsets we've seen anywhere else - but then, the sky is bigger here than most places.(7/03)
Keith Kerchner - Drag Race Photographer. My son-in-law (Candy's son) has taken up the camera and is pursuing a favorite pass-time, drag racing. He's getting pretty good at it. (7/03)
Way Old Photographs - Images I've made throughout the years, from about 1967 to present. I'm currently working on a project to scan slides and prints from the past. I have no idea how long it will take - these are some samples.

Sweet Home Arizona. This is the starting point. The plan is to change this 1,472 sq. ft. little beauty into about 2,400 sq. ft. of beautiful living space.
