WHEN: Friday, June 6, 2008 Tour of Reavis High School, 3:00 pm to 5 pm, followed by a dinner and social at american Legion Post 991 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS: From the intersection of Harlem Avenue and 11100 th, turn east onto 11100 th Street. Travel one block to Depot Street. Turn north (left) and go one block to the American Legion Post (next to Metro). Additional parking is available in the Metro Station parking lot.
PLEASE NOTE: A buffet dinner will be served. A cash bar will also be available.
A count for those attending the dinner is needed by April 1st. The cost of the dinner is $17.00 per person for those sending monies before April 1st. For those sending checks after April 1, 2008 the cost will be $19.00. All monies for the dinner must be received by May 15, 2008. Please make checks payable to Erwin Zander. Erwin is responsible for the finances for the dinner.

There are a number of friends who attended Reavis HS with our class but for various reasons did not graduate in the Class of ‘58. We welcome any who would like to attend. Please send their information and checks to Erwin;

There are additional costs in putting together the reunion. Any donations to help cover these costs are appreciated. Any monies collected over the expense of the reunion will be donated to the Reavis HS Schalarship Fund.

WHERE: CROOKED CREEK FOREST PRESERVE ("GROVE 2 - Look for signs!!)
103rd Street & Kean Avenue (About 1/4 to 1/2 block South of 103rd St.)

From 111th Street, North 7 blocks on Kean (1st Street E of LaGrange Rd
From 107th Street, North 3-1/2 blocks on Kean
From 103rd Street, going West (dead ends at Kean) - Turn left (South) 1/2 block
PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely NO GLASS bottles or containers are allowed in the Cook County Forest
Preserves. You MUST comply, as the person who USES THEIR CREDIT CARD to
secure the date and spot is LEGALLY LIABLE for all preserve rules. And they do
cruise thru to make checks!!
As we are NOT supplying any beverages, you are responsible for bringing your own.
There IS a good (working this year anyway), old-fashioned water pump on premises.
Takes me back to the old farm!! (Wish we would have had that at that one HOT
reunion!)
(This event will be sponsored by "ourselves". Soon as all expenses have been
determined, we will be posting what the price will be per person .) We will have a
delicious full meal as in the past. If anyone chooses to bring any type of appetizer or
desert, that would be a nice addition. Some of us did it before (not manditory!)
Hey - Elaine Weytkow: Kenny Shukstor wants to know if you're bringing a veggie
tray again this year? If so - he'll be more careful. . . or . . . (maybe we'll just put
Kenny in a "playpen" with a lid on it!)

WHY: BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE THINK WE'RE OLD AND WE WANT TO SHOW THEM HOW
WE CAN PARTY! (Our class WAS the last group of people literally "kicked out" of the
old high school at the last reunion.) So . . . We can't wait to get together again!
Actually, our "classmate", "Mead Hemmeter" has been bugging me for another
reunion ever since the last one! Talk about a man who likes punnishment?????
