Rev. John Poleski Rev. John Poleski is a dynamic speaker, an accomplished musician, a singer and songwriter, and a published author. He was recently installed as Senior Minister of the San Diego Center for Spiritual Living with an historic Processional of Ministers representing United, RSI, and ANTN. As a licensed minister with Emerson New Thought Center, Rev. John came to us in the fall of 2004 as a support minister to assist in growing our beloved church. In February 2005, Rev. John was asked to step in and administer our Center under the mentorship of our Founder, Rev. Dr. Gordon Bishop, as he transferred his license to our parent organization, United Church of Religious Science/United Centers for Spiritual Living. Rev. John Poleski accepted a Letter of Call to serve as Senior Minister of the San Diego Center for Spiritual Living in February of 2007. The Ceremonial Installation of the new generation of leadership under Rev. John took place in September 2007. Rev. John has been involved in Religious Science for over 30 years. Becoming a Practitioner in 1995, he continued his studies and completed his Ministerial Training with Dr. Marilyn Hall through the Emerson Theological Institute in 1998. In the fall of 1998 Rev. John was installed as the Senior Minister of the Barstow Church of Religious Science and served as Director and President of that church board until June of 2000. After moving back to San Diego, he facilitated Wednesday evening services and taught classes at the Center for Creative Living, while performing guest speaking engagements throughout Southern California. Rev. John is immediate Past President of The San Diego League of Practitioners, which grew from 8 to over 90 members under his leadership. His work inspired the creation of The Orange County League of Practitioners and Rev. John was honored to be guest speaker at their initial meeting in 2005. It has been his long-standing vision to unite the consciousness of all Leaders in New Thought. Rev. John is married to Constance Cook-Core, a Licensed Practitioner at San Diego Center for Spiritual Living. They live on Point Loma near the downtown area. They have two grown children, three grandchildren, and a playful black lab named Emma Curtis Hopkins. Rev. John Poleski is Senior Minister of the San Diego Center for Spiritual Living. He also teaches spiritual enrichment classes, conducts workshops and seminars, and sometimes brings his 12-string acoustic guitar to supplement Sunday's musical program. Rev.
