What is a Licensed Practitioner?

A Licensed Practitioner is one who has been trained to help people use the art and skill of Spiritual Mind Treatment to solve problems and to correct situations. He or she has the understanding and training to impersonally assist clients to handle their personal problems. A Licensed Practitioner lives, demonstrates and practices spiritual truth. The license to practice as a " Practitioner of Religious Science" is granted by the United Church of Religious Science/United Centers for Spiritual Living, Dr. Ernest Holmes, founder.

How Do I Use the Services of a Licensed Practitioner?

You may contact one of the San Diego Center for Spiritual Living Licensed Practitioners listed on this web site via phone or email to make an appointment. You may call San Diego Center for Spiritual Living to help you locate the practitioner who lives nearest to your area.

An interview will help you to understand your problem and its cause. Then, through Spiritual Mind Treatment - affirmative prayer, - the law of Mind and Spirit is set in motion to correct the problem. You will be guided in the control of your life and affairs through right thinking and spiritual understanding. The relationship between you and your Licensed Practitioner is one of complete confidence and freedom at all times.

What Is Spiritual Mind Treatment?

Spiritual Mind Treatment, as taught and practiced by United Centers for Spiritual Living, is based upon the belief that we are surrounded by a universal Mind, which reacts to our thoughts according to universal law. Through the use of a scientific technique, Spiritual Mind Treatment (which is really scientific prayer)- the individual's consciousness (our belief about ourself) is changed, thereby causing a change in our body and affairs.

Humankind is free to choose what to believe and uses the law of Mind to think either destructively or constructively. By using the law constructively through Spiritual Mind Treatment, we can attract health, peace, abundance, harmony and joy. As our faith in our ability to use this law of Mind grows stronger, our capacity to know the Truth of our being develops, bringing happier self-expression.

The Science of Mind and Spirit recognizes Universal Spirit. " Know the truth and the truth shall make you free " is the basis of all healing, and the truth is that we are already free - " made in the image and likeness of God."
