Nomad Bag Quick Release
An easy do it yourself project

With one of your Nomad hardbag bolts, go to a hardware store and purchase 4 Spool retainer bump knobs for a Homelite ST385/ST275/ST285BC weedwacker (garden department at Home Depot) and four 8mm bolts that are 1/4 inch longer than your stock hardbag bolts. (This could be the hardest part of the project since many hardware stores don't carry a complete supply of metric bolts) Replace the bolts that are in the bumpknob with the new bolts by simply knocking the original bolts out. (The silver plug on top will pop out) and 'voila' you now have four Quick Detach devices for your Nomad hardbags.

Now you have a "no tools" way to remove your bags. Especially handy if you need access to your rear tire valve.
