JKS & Associates is a software consulting company located in Laguna Niguel in the Orange County area of Southern California. We offer consulting services in the following major areas: Software Verification and Validation Software Auditing and Software Quality Assurance General Software Project Consulting Software Education and Training Other ServicesIn addition to the basic services listed above, JKS & Associates also provides consulting in software requirements analysis and design, hazard analysis, ISO 9001 for software organizations, ISO 9000-3/TickIT, IEC 601-1-4, ISO 12207, ISO 14971, software metrics, Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) certification/auditing, and documenting various software lifecycle activities. They also provide consulting in complying with the FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) especially with 21 CFR Part 11 and computer-controlled devices and manufacturing processes. They have also provided assistance in documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), installation qualifications (IQ), performance qualifications (PQ), and operational qualifications (OQ) for pharmaceutical manufacturers, biologic manufacturers, diagnostic manufacturers, medical devices and medical processes.
Our MissionOur goal is to provide cost effective software consulting services to both small, medium and large organizations. We strive to provide complete lifecycle software consulting solutions while keeping overhead to a minimum in order to be cost competitive in today's rapidly changing marketplace. We take proven software engineering approaches to all aspects of software development (many times using best practice techniques in software engineering) to ensure that a customer's software requirements have been implemented correctly. Tradeoffs will be performed on these approaches, if necessary, to insure the greatest benefit to the customer for the monies and time allocated. This approach will give the customer the greatest value for their projects.
