Reflections
I enjoyed writing all my essays, but
the one I enjoyed the most was the Compare and Contrast paper. Knowing a lot of
information about the way teens and young adults dress helped tremendously. It
took some time and some thought but I did it and got a good grade on my final.
For instance, “Young adult females wear classy, sophisticated clothing.” I am a
young adult female and I present myself in this attire. Essay two gave me a
problem. I think the problem was because I couldn’t focus as much as normal. I
had one of my uncles’ die and we were his only close relatives and that put a
lot on my mind. After talking to the teacher, she understood my issue and she
helped me threw the final revisions. In which I greatly appreciated. As a
writer I have learned that it takes time and a lot of effort to put together. I
went threw so many revisions to get to my finals, but once I was done my
finished product was my best. I have always been a well-rounded reader. I love
to read and answer my own questions that arise while reading. It’s the best
part of reading; it makes you think about yourself and keeps you on your toes.
My reading skill has only leveled itself out during English 111. As far as me
being a critical-thinker, I think I have much more to learn. I analyze and
process questions properly but my answers aren’t always accurate. They are in a
round about way of the “BIG PICTURE.”
