Beer Can Chicken


1 5 lb. whole chicken
1 can beer
Olive oil
Seasoning Salt (I use cajun seasoning) You can use your favorite seasoning.
Pepper

Heat barbecue to 350 degrees which should be medium heat
Rub chicken with oil and generously season inside and out.
Open beer and drink about 1/3 of the can
Puncture a few more holes in the can
Pour some of the seasoning in the can
Insert the can inside the chicken
Place the chicken upright on the center of the grill (you have to spread the legs to prop it up)
Close lid and cook for 1 hour 20 minutes
Check from time to time to make sure chicken doesn't fall over.
