The Dancers

The Junior Company has performed at a number of venues in the five years since its inception. Highlights include their debut in the spring of 1998 at "Art Walk" followed by an appearance at the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park as part of a citywide "Celebrate Dance". Winter 1998 and 1999 brought performances of "Clara's Dream", with Nutcracker Act II variations by Ms. Wilham for the entire Company. They were invited to dance at the Hotel Del Coronado's annual tree lighting in 1999. Spring 2000 included a performance with the San Diego Chamber Orchestra at the Del Mar Fair grounds. In 2001, the Junior Company competed in the annual Palm Desert Correographer Show running away with overall second and third for Wilham's original "Tribal Beauty" and "Rondo in Blue". The group joined San Diego Ballet in dancing at the San Diego Symphony Summer Pops salute to the ballets of Tchaikovsky.
