This is a work in progress, many things below are missing their costs, some things are noted in red, some are listed as WIP. Some things may still have 3rd Edition numbers or names.  As I work through them all, I'll update them.  If you have any input on them, I'm open to discussion of them on the Steve Jackson Games Forum.

Transhuman Space Meta-Traits.

Bioroids

Bioroids are living beings created fully formed through biogenesis.  The term Bioroid is derived by contracting Biological Android.

Cybershells

Cybershells are basically robots without software. The sophisticated software required to animate a cybershell is called an Infomorph, a being of digital intelligence.  Cybershells are designed for a multitude of uses.  Any job or function that could be done by a computer is likely to have a cybershell built to do it.

Infomorphs

An infomorph is an entity whose consciousness resides in a computer brain and whose personality and memories are in the form of software and data.  It has two elements; a digital mind consisting of either an AI or a mind-emulation , and a body of either a cybershell or a bioshell.

AIs and mind emulations are rated for program Complexity, from 4 (least complex) to 10 (most sophisticated).  A digital mind must be hosted on a cybershell or bioshell featuring a computer with equal or greater Complexity.

Parahumans

Parahumans are products of species gengineering, and incorporate nonhuman DNA sequences.  They are people that were genetically engineered prior to birth.  Many typical human deficiencies have been edited out or blocked, and many desirable traits have been enhanced.  Most parahumans are designed for specific environments or tasks.

Upgrades

Genetic upgrades are the product of eugenic genetic engineering.  A genetic upgrade is completely human, but his genes were selected to emphasize particular traits.

Uplifted Animals

Many animals can be "uplifted" to a greater, more sentient intelligence, less bestial behavior (if that's desired), and increased functionality.
