Weaving
This is generally considered the most difficult obstacle. I'm not going to suggest the best method for you, but Baxter learned to weave six poles in under 2 weeks, so I'll share the method I used which was based on a method learned in my Good Dog Agility training classes.
First, I believe you must have your own set of training weave poles, as you will probably not get enough practice in your training classes. See the Building Your Own page for instructions.

My Method
Is to basically work the poles one at a time, then 2, then 3, etc...
The method I used was to lure the dog with the treat thru the 1st pole. When he/she does it, click-treat-praise.
Next lure the dog to the 1st pole to where their nose is about 6 inches from pole2, then gently push them at the shoulder with your left hand so their nose crosses pole 2. Then lure the dog back with your right hand holding the treat, click-treat-praise like crazy. Repeat a bazillion times or so, until they will enter between pole 1-2 and come thru pole 2-3.
Once they have mastered this, try adding a pole 3-4 push, and a pole 4-5 lure. Again, click and treat.
Repeat for poles 5-6, and your dog is weaving!
