Worth Visiting

John and Russ
John Walradt and Russ Shane. This was taken in my apartment in Denver in 1990.
Russ Shane and I have been the best of friends since 1970 at Palisades High School in Los Angeles. We share an interest in maps and drawing hypothetical cities. He has a very impressive wall map he drew of "Oregopolis." Just as impressive is his writing. He is the best author I know. The first book I saw of his was "Block Tower" in 1972. We've been on several bicycle trips, our favorite being our trip up the Malibu coast, up to Ojai, and over to Santa Susana. Our next venture is to write some new songs.
Robert and Susie Bowe
Robert and Susie Bowe hold their bluegrass instruments.
I met Susie and Robert Bowe in 1990 and we eventually developed a folk band called "Almost Together" that lasted a short while. Susie is a very good songwriter, having written the memorable "Time," "Changes," and several others. I often drove to their house west of Boulder, Colorado in the Rocky Mountains where we played music. These days Robert and Susie live in Grand Junction, Colorado. You can visit them at their web site, Bowe Country.
Aimee and Trapper
Aimee Harms and her pupster, Trapper.
Aimee Harms lives in Vienna, Virginia, so we haven't met face to face, but we've had a lot of correspondence since 2000. She thinks of me as her brother since we seem to be siblings in spirit. She loves running and she has a couple of Shelties.
