From the JMU Alumni Office
Listed below are the 2004 chapter expectations and recommendations for
our chapter size. We will be holding at least one social event per year and setting up two more chapter meetings to meet the requirements from the
alumni office. Please keep on the lookout for emails and newsletters
highlighting upcoming events.
 
Expectations Recommendations
  1. Chapter is to host one social event per year, resulting in 10% total attendance.
  2. Two Leadership Meetings are held each year.
  3. Chapter leader updates all email and website contact information posted on the JMU Alumni website, as it relates to their chapter, with the Alumni Relations Communications Coordinator.
  4. Chapter Leader serves as a contact person for all alumni in the area.
  1. Chapter submits one nomination for the Distinguished Alumni Award each year.
  2. Two members are to be designated as the Alumni Association Recruiting Network (AARN) representatives for
    the area.
  3. Participate in Leadership Conference.
  4. Chapter raises a $300.00
    Book Scholarship for a current student from their area.
