When I was 20 years old I took a MSF course and bought my first motorcycle, a Suzuki SP500. Since then I have owned two more Suzukis, a Moto Guzzi, a Kawasaki and three BMWs. When I bought my second BMW I discovered the BMW motorcycle community. Now motorcycling is more than riding for me. It's traveling, seeing new places, meeting people and sharing experiences.
My first BMW was an old R75 with Krauser bags and a Vetter fairing. After I bought it, I sold the fairing, bought a Corbin seat then repainted most of the bodywork. Six months later I finally got it registered and hated it! It was just to big and slow compared to the Guzzi. Fast forward to 2000 and I bought my first brand new motorcycle since the 80's, a blue BMW R1100R Roadster. Over the next few years I added and changed things until it was the motorcycle you see below. I thought it was perfect for sport-touring.
